ScanaStudio - Color settings and deactivating channels

  • How can I customize the color settings of the channels?
I only found the switching between light and dark color scheme.

  • When a new workspace is created all the available channels are activated and displayed per default. I didn’t find a way to mark sevaral channels to make them disappear at once. Maybe I missed how to do it. Clicking each channel to be removed separately is a bit annoying, especially because the click position is moving all the time due to scaling.

Hello @Olaf ,

As for the colors, indeed, so far we (at ikalogic) didn’t see the real need to make the probes colors configurable. Further more, for products like SQ and SE254, the channel colors on ScanaStudio match the physical probes color, so changing them would be counterproductive in that sense.

As for the channel masking, i can indeed see that it can be a pain point, specially when there are many channels.

We’ll think of an elegant way to implement this.

Hi again,

you already named one of the reasons why it’s very helpful to be able to set the colours of the channels - because in more complex setups its good to align with signal colours of the physical target. There are also kind of standard colours for certain cases. Additionally it would be helpful to group different signals for a better overview and intuitive observing. For many other products this is a standard feature.

From my perspective this feature is even more important than marking several channels to take them out of the view. The pain regarding this point is only once per new workspace, the other remains constantly.
